You'll leave Dubai behind today as you head south toward the largest Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and journey deep into the Rub' al Khali, or Empty Quarter, desert. The drive will take around three hours, but it's an interesting landscape as you continue further into the rolling dunes of one of the largest stretches of desert in the world. After you arrive at your luxury desert property, which appears out of nowhere like an oasis, you'll have some time to relax and properly settle in.

Today, you can take part in some of the activities offered at the property such as camel trekking, dune bashing, desert sailing, archery, yoga, horse riding, or falconry. If you want to head further afield, you could visit the historic Liwa Fort, which was built over 400 years ago and served as both a defensive stronghold and the residence of the local Wali (governor).
