Finca Piedra

Finca Piedra is a well established estancia located halfway between Colonia del Sacramento and Montevideo.

The property was set up to offer the experience of staying on a proper working estancia and Finca Piedra doesn't disappoint. Guests here can get involved in the day-to-day routine of estancia life, getting a taste of a real working estancia, not the tourist-centric options that are becoming prevalent across South America.

The rooms are comfortable, the service levels are very good and Sandrine and Jason, the young couple who run the estancia, are extremely welcoming and always encourage guests to get involved. The estancia also boasts a vineyard and guests can enjoy walking or riding in the grounds. For those who prefer not to ride, a horse and cart means that all guests can enjoy the experience.

Finca Piedra is an ongoing project, and although disruption is minimal, there will be some construction going on in the grounds for the foreseeable future (but not where guests currently reside or in the main house).

The property also boasts a large swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
