War veteran playing a bamboo instrument in Bho Hoong

Bho Hoong village experience

You will be collected from your hotel at around 8am before beginning the drive west through the foothills of the Truong Son mountains. Along the way you will make a number of short stops which will introduce you to the history of the area and allow for photo opportunities of this beautiful region. You will then stop for lunch at a local woodcarver's house who has turned his house into a small museum displaying many of his treasures.

After lunch you will continue on to the village. Arriving in Bho Hoong Village you will have time to settle into your bungalow before embarking on a tour of the village and surrounding jungle. Your local guide will share his knowledge of the local area and give you a first-hand perspective on the day to day life of the Co Tu people.

In the evening you will be treated to a traditional dance and music show performed by local people of all ages who want to preserve tradition. Afterwards, dinner will be served in the main Guol house where village meetings take place. As the village quietens down for the night you will retire to your bungalow for a well-earned rest.
