As part of the prestigious First Residence complex, the hotel has direct access to upmarket haute couture boutiques and galleries and a casino, yet the ancient history and culture of the city are just minutes away. The property offers a haven amongst the hustle and bustle of Cairo and its hectic traffic. Service at the hotel is excellent and the friendly staff will go out of their way to make sure your every need is attended to. The Four Seasons at the First Residence boasts first class facilities including a large, open air swimming pool on the fourth floor overlooking the Nile, the First Boat which contains six restaurants and is moored next to the hotel, and an excellent spa and wellness centre offering a range of treatments. The spacious guest rooms and suites are some of the largest in the city, designed in a French colonial style with panoramic city or Nile views.

Rooms

The hotel boasts over 200 guest rooms and around 50 suites, which are some of the largest in the city and have been designed with elegance in mind. Set across 20 floors, rooms are light and airy with panoramic floor to ceiling windows featuring views of the zoological gardens, or the Nile. Rooms have been designed in a French, classical style with ornate interiors and a hint of Egyptian panache. Each has a private bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower, and is equipped with air-conditioning, minibar, flat-screen TV, BOSE entertainment system, and free Wi-Fi.

Location

Situated on the Nile’s west bank, the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at the First Residence is an oasis amongst the downtown hecticness. Located a 15-minute drive from the Egyptian Museum and 45 minutes from the Giza Pyramids, it is a great place to base yourselves. The hotel is also adjoined to the First Mall complex which boasts high end boutique shops and eateries.

Food and drink

  • First Nile boat is moored adjacent to the hotel and contains six restaurants all serving different cuisines:
  • Xodo restaurant is a Brazilian steakhouse serving lunch and dinner on a daily basis.
  • Nairu Lounge specialises in Asian cuisine, in particular Cantonese, Indian, Thai and Japanese, and is open for lunch and dinner.
  • Riva is an open air restaurant and bar specialising in oven-baked pizzas, Italian cuisine, and cocktails.
  • On the First Nile boat’s upper deck you will find Zoé, an all day dining restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine and seafood.
  • You could also opt for a two hour, interactive and immersive, digital dining experience run by ‘Le Petit Chef,’ a great option for groups of friends, or families.
