The boutique-style hotel is housed in two buildings dating back to the 17th and 19th centuries and started its life as a private family home. Inside, it still retains a sense of elegant, old-world charm with its parquet flooring, exposed beams, tapestries and large stone fireplace.
Rooms feature fine patterned fabrics on the walls and upholstery, and views of either the inner courtyard or the traditional Parisian streets below. The hotel’s intimate Café Laurent was once a meeting place for literary figures such as Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre, and today holds regular jazz evenings.
Ideally located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Hôtel d’Aubusson is a boutique hotel with plenty of charm. We were impressed with its friendly service, its great little bar and the inner courtyard, which is a relaxing place for an apéritif after a busy day.
