La Maison de Lucie
Named after the original owner, French poet Lucie Delarue-Mardrus, La Maison de Lucie is an elegant retreat in central Honfleur. It boasts a chic bar, reading room and petit salon complete with a fireplace, spiral staircase and impressive library.
Rooms are light and airy and decorated with antique chests, taffeta drapes and fresh orchids. Each morning begins with a breakfast of fresh fruits, meats, cheeses and other homemade treats and although there isn’t a restaurant, the courtyard is a pleasant refuge for an evening drink and there are countless bistros just a five minute walk away. For relaxation, there's a hot tub in the vaulted cellar.

All have a flat-screen television and complimentary Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are bright and airy and look out into the garden area or over the old town. Most include a shower over the bath. Suites feature special amenities like private staircase entrances or a fireplace.
La Maison de Lucie is on a quiet cobbled street off the main square, behind Saint-Catherine’s Church. Though tucked away, the port is less than a ten-minute walk away, as is the Rue de la Prison (prison alley), which dates back to the Middle Ages. Nearby, are plenty of shops, restaurants and the Eugène Boudin museum, which celebrates the work of the 19th-century painter.
