Kasbah Angour is a new property based on a Amazigh castle, just 30 minutes' drive away from Marrakesh. With a spectacular location perched on a hilltop in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, guests will enjoy superb panoramic views. To the south and east are the peaks of the highest mountains in Morocco, including Angour, Oukaimeden and the Toubkal Massif. To the north and west is the river Sidi Fares valley, with its olive groves and villages built from compacted earth.

Kasbah Angour has 22 bedrooms and three suites, constructed from traditional Moroccan materials and each looking out to the range of excellent vistas. Features include under-floor heating, air conditioning, telephone and free wireless internet. There is also a restaurant with two terraces, a large café-bar and a very comfortable lounge. The kitchen uses the best fresh produce, including fruit and vegetables from the kasbah's own gardens.

For those who are feeling active, there are a team of experienced mountain guides available. Excursions include half and full-day walks, cycling, mule treks and visits by car to some wonderful nearby locations.
