The accommodation in the Everest region is very basic and it is not possible to book a bed in advance. In some lodges you will be able to have your own room, but in others you will be sharing a dormitory with other trekkers. Bathrooms are shared, and hot showers are few and far between — and where they are available you will usually have to pay for the privilege.
Your guide will help you to arrange a place to stay when you arrive in each place, though please note that there may be little choice, depending on how full the lodges are and how late in the day you arrive.
