Kimondo Camp (formerly Olakira Lamai) is a classic mobile tented camp that moves between the north and the south of the Serengeti to be in the ideal location from which to try to find the two million strong herds of wildebeest and zebra during the Migration.

The camp is an intimate mobile tented camp of eight guest tents, each tastefully designed with large king-size or twin beds, convenient bathrooms and each tent has its own private veranda with an amazing view overlooking the Serengeti. Bathrooms are extremely comfortable for a mobile camp, with shower, wash basin and an environmentally friendly toilet. Central to the camp are two common tents that are open to the surrounding nature. When the camp is occupied by multiple small groups, one tent will serve as a dining tent and the other one as a lounge, where drinks are served and safari stories are shared. Fantastic meals are served in the dining tent or in a private location: your own veranda or under the Serengeti stars.

Staying at Kimondo Camp is not about five star luxury though. It's about something more than that. Being in the middle of this wonderful spectacle, with wild animals roaming around camp at night, is a dream come true to even the most experienced of travelers.
