Itinerary idea in detail

Private customized tour. Ask us about booking your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • You’re met at the airport by your private driver and taken to your centrally located hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring Edinburgh Castle by yourselves (entry tickets are included) and getting acquainted to the city.

  • Today meet a local food guide for a private food safari tour tailored to your tastes. This walking tour visits several local producers, and you’ll sample different ingredients and dishes while hearing the stories of the people involved.

  • Pick up your rental car and drive north to Perth to visit the Black Watch Castle and Museum. Enjoy a shared tour of this museum, which details the tales and history of the infamous Black Watch Highlanders' regiment. Continue north into the Cairngorms National Park.

  • Spend the day exploring the Rothiemurchus Estate, located in the heart of the Cairngorms. Embark on a private quad bike trek with a guide in the morning, then visit a working farm for a sheepdog experience.

  • Head west to Loch Ness to board a shared cruise of the legendary loch, which includes entry to the atmospheric Urquhart Castle. Continue your journey west toward the coast and spend the night on a private island, located approximately half an hour from the bustling port town of Oban.

  • Embark on a shared wildlife cruise, which departs from a small village on the coast just outside Oban. Look out for whales, porpoise, dolphins, seals and otters, as well as deer and goats on the small islands that you pass.

  • Drive through the prehistoric remains of Kilmartin Glen on your way south to take the ferry across to Islay. The ferry takes around two hours, then when you land on Islay it's a short drive to your family friendly hotel.

  • This morning head out into the ocean on a shared wildlife boat trip with a local guide, who'll take you along the coast to view seal colonies (and otters and dolphins if you're lucky). Along the cruise, you'll dip in and out of secluded bays and see the coastline from several different viewpoints. In the afternoon, visit the American monument on the Oa Peninsula.

  • Leave Islay and take the ferry back to the mainland, then drive to Loch Lomond. In the afternoon, take a speedboat ride around the islands toward the south end of the loch. Your hotel is on the shores of the loch, overlooking the water.

  • Admire the beautiful Highland scenery from the unique perspective of the water as you explore Loch Lomond on a guided kayak tour.

  • Drive to Glasgow airport and drop off your car prior to your onward flight.
