  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Oslo. Upon arrival into Oslo airport you'll be met and driven to your centrally located hotel. The afternoon is at your leisure to begin exploring the city. We suggest walking along the waterfront, or visiting some of the city's excellent museums.

  • You'll be driven to the train station today to board the train to Bergen. This is a long but scenic ride, journeying across the south of the country, through mountains and forests and past numerous lakes. On arrival into Bergen you'll be met at the station and driven to your hotel.

You'll visit the historic fish market, home to a plethora of fresh fish and seafood from the surrounding fjords and oceans, wander the city's cobblestone lanes and marvel at the vibrantly hued wooden houses of Bryggen, converted from merchants' warehouses into artisan studios and shops.

  • Spend the day exploring the beautiful landscape of the fjords today. Board a boat to Sognefjord, 'king of the fjords' as Norway's longest and deepest. This docks in the pretty waterside village of Flåm, where you'll have some time to explore. Return to Bergen by taking the exciting Flåm Railway, a scenic journey which initially rises steeply out of the valley to the mountain plateau.
