Cruise Ships in The Arctic : World Explorer

Not only is the purpose-built World Explorer one of the fastest ships cruising the polar seas, it is also one of the most luxurious with chic, contemporary design, spacious cabins — all of which come with private balconies — and a glass-domed observation lounge to maximise wildlife sightings while still staying warm.

The design of the World Explorer allows for polar exploration in complete comfort. Many of the ship's facilities have a focus on wellness such as the outdoor heated pool and walking track, while the hull’s 1B ice class makes the ship well suited to quickly and smoothly cruising the ends of the Earth.

The World Explorer also features extensive and well-planned public areas such as a library, gym and spa, with presentations and discussions by polar experts facilitated in a dedicated lecture theatre. Daily off-ship experiences are complemented by optional adventure activities such as kayaking, camping and paddleboarding.

Cabins

In a rare bonus, all of the cabins on this purpose-built vessel feature walk-out or Juliet balconies for direct ocean views and increased levels of personal space. The suites on Deck 5 are particularly appealing as there are viewing platforms at the front and back of this deck.
