Set in a beautiful location, Gangtey Lodge boasts 12 luxury farmhouse suites. Each suite is furnished with local furniture, characterful touches and is extremely comfortable. The hotel offers an intimate and personable experience with attentive staff and is finished to a luxuriously high specification. A lovely dining/living room area has numerous cozy fireplaces and overlooks the surrounding valley.
The lodge’s focus firmly stays with the local community, and a collaboration with the RSPN (Royal Society for Protection of Nature) sees the Gangtey Lodge Green Team drive projects throughout the Phobjikha Valley, where they spend time planting trees in the forest and taking part in anti-litter work. 95% of the staff are Bhutanese, and all the experiences run in partnership with the local community, including spiritual experiences that support the Shedra (Buddhist College) and Gangtey Goenpa (Monastery), both just a short walk from the lodge.
