Sala Lodges, Siem Reap

Sala Lodges

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Sala Lodges takes inspiration from the traditional wooden houses found throughout Cambodia's countryside, and the property's handful of stilted houses were spotted in rural Cambodian villages, dismantled, transported and beautifully restored to offer extremely comfortable and truly authentic accommodation for guests.

Each house has its own special history and architecture, and their varying sizes mean that they can accommodate up to two, three, four or five guests. The property's spacious communal areas provide a contrast to these rustic-style houses, offering contemporary and relaxing spaces where guests can unwind and socialize.

Sala Lodges offers relaxation in unique traditional Khmer surroundings. Although the property is around a kilometer away from the center of Siem Reap, the facilities on offer are of an extremely high standard and the peaceful environment allows guests to relax after a day of exploring.

The traditionally-styled houses are each individually designed to reflect Cambodia’s rich history and heritage, and are spread across the property's grounds. They each have their own unique name and history, linking guests to Cambodia's rural past. Inside, the buildings are very spacious and beautifully decorated using local materials and crafts. All feature en suite bathrooms with rain showers, air conditioning, mosquito nets and private balconies, as well as free Wi-Fi access, tea/coffee making facilities and minibars. Varying in size, some of the houses are specially designed for larger groups or families, featuring two bedrooms and sofa beds.

Situated within walking distance of central Siem Reap, including its markets and the renowned Pub Street, Sala Lodges is located on the other side of the river where quieter village life is still present.
