Facilities and activities

For those wanting to escape the children, there’s the adults only pool and fitness center, Deck 27, with a large sundeck overlooking the city. The center also includes saunas and a whirlpool. The hotel also has an artist in residence to showcase local artists with work displayed in the lobby and lounge. Underground self-parking is available for a locally-payable fee.

Environmental and social responsibility

The Chelsea recognises the need for corporate responsibility and has several sustainable practices in place such as the Green Wall in the lobby, removing plastic water bottles from rooms, providing bathroom amenities in bottles made from recycled plastic, and partnerships with local suppliers. The hotel has earned a four out of five key rating from the Green Key program.
