Enjoy a half day guided hike in the stunning Yoho National Park. The hike is approximately three to four hours long, and departs from Moraine Lake Lodge.
There are two hiking routes which are alternated between. The first is in Larch Valley which is an alpine valley with spectacular mountain lakes and streams nestled in a forest of magnificent larch trees.
The second is Consolation Valley where you can expect to see Consolation Lake which is surrounded by glaciers, spectacular Rocky Mountains and avalanche scree slopes. On the trail you will see 10 to 20 varieties of alpine mushrooms, spectacular colors of Indian paintbrush (flower), and many varieties of alpine flowers.
