Hosteria Lago Grey is a comfortable place to stay and undoubtedly its biggest advantage is its location. Situated right on the Grey Lake, it faces the Paine Massif and the spectacular blue waters and floating icebergs, all of which can be enjoyed from the large windows of the dining room. The recently refurbished bedrooms have heating, private bathrooms, and are attractively decorated.
However, despite the range of excursions that the Hosteria offers, including exclusive boat trips out on the lake to visit the biggest glacier in Torres del Paine, we have found that information about these trips is not always displayed adequately and staff can often appear unhelpful, so it can result in making it difficult to organize your days. Please also be aware that the cost of meals and excursions is high (but no worse than any other lodge of this standard in the park).
