This charming hotel sits above the town of Puerto Varas, with beautiful views across Lago Llanquihue. It somehow manages to be in town, yet still feel surrounded by nature; at the same time, it has mastered the ability to feel like a small hotel, while offering the services of a much larger property. There is a great spa, a bar and a restaurant which has been found to be extremely good as well.
There are 90 rooms and suites, some of which have balconies with panoramic views of Lago Llanquihue and the Osorno Volcano. All are equipped with air conditioning, independent heating, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a minibar, telephone and safe.
Finding this hotel for the first time can be a little tricky. The place to start is on the waterfront road; Costanera Vicente Perez Rosales. Along this road there is a set of lights where the road meets Av. Imperial. If you have the water on your right, this is a gentle left-hand fork in the road; and if the water is on your left, it becomes a very sharp right turn. This road goes up hill and after about three blocks, you will find Cumbres Puerto Varas.
