The Shawandha Lodge comprises just 13 standard bungalows with lovely decoration, set around beautiful tropical gardens. The bungalows have high ceilings and thatched roofs, are spacious and comfortable and have their own terrace.

The hotel is located just a five-minute walk to Playa Chiquita, and there is a lot of wildlife in the vicinity. The property is about 15 minutes by car to Puerto Viejo and the hotel can help you to arrange many tours in the local area. The food in the restaurant is French-Caribbean, and there are some other small restaurants within walking distance, such as Vida Sana (local food) and Selvins (Caribbean).
