Dubai's city sights & an island stay in the Maldives

Today, you’ll have an opportunity to explore Dubai’s historic souqs and sample traditional food on a shared walking tour. Led by an experienced guide, they will share stories of growing up in the UAE and tell you all about their local culture. You’ll visit the traditional markets of the Spice Souq and the Textile Souq, and cross Dubai Creek on an abra, a wooden water taxi. Tickle your tastebuds as you try delicious Emirati, Indian and Iranian snacks, from sweet Emirati dumplings to Iranian dill-scented soup.

This morning, you have tickets to go all the way up to Burj Khalifa’s exclusive 148th floor. Soak in the sights of Dubai from up high as you make your way around one of the world’s tallest buildings. This evening, you'll head to Dubai Marina, which is full of modern skyscrapers and impressive modern architecture. Upon arrival, you'll board a traditional dhow boat for a shared cruise along the marina while enjoying a tasty Lebanese buffet dinner.

Your final day in Dubai is yours at leisure to further explore the city, or to simply relax and use the hotel facilities or lie by the swimming pool. If you decide to go out and explore, there are a number of interesting museums and attractions around the city.

You'll be collected from your hotel and driven the short transfer to Dubai International Airport, where you will board your flight to the Maldives. On arrival in Malé, you’ll be met by our local representative who will escort you through the airport and bring you to the seaplane departure lounge, a short drive away. From here, you’ll board your 30-minute seaplane flight to reach your resort in South Ari Atoll.

On your first full day in the Maldives, you may like to explore and settle into island life. There are plenty of quiet corners to relax in, from hammocks dotted around the resort to the swimming pool with beautiful views of the Indian Ocean. As the day winds down, the Totem Bar is a great spot for a cocktail at sunset under the palm trees.

Known to have one of the best house reefs in the Maldives, the waters around your resort are full of tropical fish and vibrant coral. We suggest using the complimentary snorkeling gear to explore the reef and surrounding lagoons or go further afield on a boat trip. You may be lucky enough to see the turtles that call this area home.

During your stay, we recommend diving with a PADI-trained instructor. This area of the Maldives is a wonderful place to dive with crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life. Whale shark trips are offered throughout the year, and a visit to nearby dive spot Madivara may bring manta ray sightings at certain times of the year.

When not in the ocean or on the beach, you may like to make use of the restaurants and bars available at your resort. All-inclusive is the standard and, as part of this service, all of your meals and drinks will be included, ensuring a simple and stress-free vacation.

A spa treatment is a wonderful way to unwind, and there are a variety of treatments on offer for ultimate relaxation. The spa itself is a real highlight of the resort, set on a wooden jetty over the ocean you can enjoy beautiful views over the water and the sounds of the waves.

Today is your final full day, make use of the facilities and activities available, from pedal boats to kayaking and windsurfing, there are many included activities to choose from. To make it extra special, you may like to book a wine tasting session within the lagoon for your last evening.

Today, you will have a seaplane transfer back to Malé where a representative will meet you and transfer you to the international airport in time for your flight home.
