Claire

Italy Specialist

The old cities of Italy enchant me. I developed a passion for travel through summer trips from California to Europe while in high school. Later at UC Berkeley, I studied Italian determined to master the irregularities of the language and developed a passion for art history. Italy then, was an obvious next destination. I spent four amazing months studying in Rome, wandering through vibrant neighborhoods, exploring world-renowned art museums, and traveling to nearby cities on breaks.

As a travel specialist, I bring expertise in history, having completed a master’s in art history at Tufts, as well as wide ranging experience traveling and living in Europe and a continual curiosity to explore through travel.

To me Italy truly has it all: storied history, diverse and exquisite cuisine, crystalline lakes, bustling cities, and the serene Mediterranean Sea — an idyllic backdrop for any holiday escape. It’s this irresistible combination that fuels my passion for helping others discover Italy in their own way.
