The seaside town of Galaxidi & beekeeping experience

Your day begins with a hotel pickup in Delphi or Arachova, followed by a scenic 45-minute to one-hour drive to Galaxidi. Upon arrival, you’ll explore the town on foot, wandering through cobbled streets flanked by brightly painted houses with blue and green shutters — remnants of its 18th-century prosperity along key maritime trade routes. Along the way, you’ll visit some of the town’s most impressive mansions and churches, gaining insight into its historical significance.

After soaking in the town’s rich heritage, you’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the many waterfront tavernas, where fresh seafood is the star of the menu.

In the afternoon, the experience continues with a visit to a local beekeeper in nearby Itea. Donning a protective suit, you’ll step into the garden to observe the hives up close. The beekeeper will guide you through the fascinating world of bees, their vital role in the ecosystem, and the traditional methods of honey production. You may even get the chance to hold a honeycomb frame and watch the bees at work. The visit concludes with a tasting of the various honey types produced on-site.

After this sweet finale, you’ll meet your driver and return to your hotel, enriched by a day of history, culture, and culinary delights.
