Calabash is a luxury, boutique hotel under the Relais & Château brand. It’s situated on the white-sand Lance aux Epines beach, on the south coast of Grenada. Tucked within the calm Prickly Bay, the hotel is just a 10-minute drive from both the international airport and Grand Anse beach.
Offering just 30 suites across five room categories, the intimate resort serves guests with an understated luxury of the highest standard. All the suites are spacious and well-equipped and boast views, and some offer private pools. There are also villas suitable for larger parties. You can choose from a wide range of activities, from yoga and lawn games to sunset cruises, rum tasting and sailing lessons. There’s an on-site dive facility and water sports like paddleboards, kayaks and Hobie Cats. There is also a fully equipped fitness room, tennis courts and a spa.
Rhodes, the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, serves elegant dinners, while the more casual Beach Club is open daily for a lunch and early-evening dining or a cocktail overlooking the sea. Breakfast at Calabash is an à la carte affair — you can eat on the beach or in the privacy of your own room.

The intimate resort offers just 30 elegant suites across five room categories. Junior, Senior and Deluxe suites all have large bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas and are tastefully decorated with a coastal theme. They benefit from large balconies or terraces with views over the meticulous gardens to the Caribbean Sea. Pool Suites also offer a secluded private pool and freestanding outdoor bathtub. The spacious Penthouse Suite provides ample living areas, a private pool and open-air seating area. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and in-room safe. The resort is also home to four private estate villas, catering two or five bedrooms, each with a private pool and ample living space.
Location
Located on the southern coast of Grenada, Calabash is just a ten-minute drive from the international airport and the beautiful beach of Grand Anse. Tucked within the calm Prickly Bay, the resort overlooks the white-sand beach of Lance aux Epines. The lively capital of Saint George's is a 20-minute drive north of the resort.
Food and drink
Breakfast at Calabash is an à la carte affair, and you can choose to eat on the beach or on your private balcony or terrace. The Beach Club, which is open daily, serves an array of fresh seafood, salads and snacks for lunch or a relaxed evening meal. Rhodes is the resort’s fine-dining restaurant. Please note that a smart dress code is required to dine at Rhodes.
Families
Although the resort does not have specific children’s facilities, children of all ages are welcome. Many of the suites can fit an additional bed and the Penthouse Suite can be connected to create a two-bedroom suite.

Divers can take advantage of the externally run on-site dive center and all guests can enjoy water sports such as paddleboards, kayaks and Hobie Cats.
