Rooms
The hotel's rooms are simple but elegant in a classically Italian style with tall windows allowing natural light to pour in. Crisp white linens contrast with pops of yellow, red and gray in the decor which features handsome lamps, polished wooden furnishings and spacious Italian marble bathrooms. LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi come as standard, while some rooms feature a private terrace or balcony with views of Milan or the hotel’s sprawling courtyard garden.
Location
Located a little way from the heart of the city in the Porta Venezia area, it is possible to access the Duomo and central shopping area in around ten minutes by taxi or metro (there’s a metro station right outside). The lively Porta Venezia area is popular with local Milanese and directly surrounding the hotel you’ll find plenty of restaurants and cafés, including some that offer live music at the weekend, making it a pleasant area to explore.
Food and drink
Popular not only among guests, but also the fashionable local Milanese, the hotel’s bar is a lively spot, particularly for an early evening aperitivo. Coffees, light lunches and a menu of contemporary Italian and classic international dishes are also served here during the day. In summer, the bar opens out onto the courtyard garden so guests can enjoy a refreshing drink under the canopy of trees or by the large pond with its trickling fountain.
