Namoroka Tsingy Camp

Namoroka Tsingy Camp

Madagascar

Namoroka Tsingy Camp offers an adventurous retreat on the edge of Namoroka National Park. The park, renowned for its unique Tsingy limestone formations, was created by tectonic activity and rainwater erosion over millions of years, resulting in sharp, needle-like rock structures. Today, it's home to an abundance of nature, including the rare aye-aye lemur, chameleons, bats and over one hundred species of birdlife. The area is made up of six ecosystems, from the gallery forest to the bright blue sacred spring, wetlands and grasslands, most of which is still being explored by scientists.

From the camp there are many opportunities to explore the park’s rich biodiversity, with both day and night walks available and cave explorations, as well as drives to experience the striking landscapes.

After a day of exploring, you’ll return to your safari-style tent which has all of the amenities for a comfortable stay. All of your meals are included and evening meals are served in the open-air restaurant with cocktails on offer from the bar. Due to access, the camp is only open from May – November only.
