Flying to the commercial center of Tapachula you find the wonderful fertile Soconusco region which is famed for producing coffee, bananas, mangoes, cacao and sugarcane.

Just eight kilometers from the Pacific coast and ten kilometers from the Guatemalan border this is an ideal stopover on your way either to Chiapas in Mexico or to cross the border into Guatemala.
