Sanbona Explorer Camp

Sanbona Explorer Camp is a simple dome tented camp, used on the Explorer two day walking trips. Each day you will walk with an expert guide, learning about the Sanbona reserve's wildlife from on foot.

At night, you will sleep in a simple dome tent, with mosquito net and canvas sides (you can choose whether to leave the canvas rolled up to see the stars). Inside the tent are camp beds, with proper bedding, so this is a more comfortable version of traditional camping. The camp has an eco-shower and individual bio-toilets.

Evenings are spent around the campfire sharing stories with other guests, and you'll enjoy a hearty bush meal cooked by the camp chef.

Whilst the accommodation itself is very much back to basics, the service and experience is truly superb. This is an incredible way to get a really unique safari experience, and learn far more than you would on a normal game-drive safari.
