The hotel encapsulates the future of sustainable tourism, with a luxurious offering that has minimal impact on its environment. We loved drifting past the mangroves on the hotel’s kayaks, spying the resident herons, turtles, and flamingoes.

There are a multitude of different room options spread across the resort. All rooms and suites offer spacious en suite bathrooms and have either a private terrace or balcony with views of the sea, lagoon, pool, or garden, while the villas have private plunge pools and sea-view terraces. The one- or two-bedroom Maldives-style overwater villas have individual infinity pools, separate dining and living areas, large terraces, and thatched roofs.
The rooms are all light and airy, with evocative artwork and subtle hues that capture the tones of the sea and beach, giving an atmosphere of sophisticated coastal chic.

Surrounded by protected mangroves, lagoons, and the open Gulf, the Anantara Mina RAK Resort lies within the coastal community of Mina Al Arab, approximately one hour from Dubai International Airport and 30 minutes from Ras al Khaimah International Airport. Jebel Jais with its mountainous adventures lies just under one hour away, while the Al Wadi desert is approximately a 25-minute drive.
