Itinerary idea in detail

Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • On arrival you're met by your private driver and transported to your centrally located hotel in London via a private electric car. After settling into your hotel, you're picked up in a vintage Mini Cooper and taken on a two-hour orientation of the city.

  • A truly royal day. Your driver and guide pick you up at your hotel to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, stopping along the way to view the Prince Albert memorial. In the afternoon drive by car to Windsor, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. Enjoy lunch in the lovely village of Windsor itself before exploring the castle in the late afternoon. See if the King is in residence by looking out for the royal standard.

  • Today is all about the Tudors. Set on the left bank of the Thames is the imposing Tower of London, which was used as a jail, fortress and royal residence during the Tudor era. With your private guide see where Anne Boleyn stayed before her coronation and execution, view the sparkling crown jewels and watch out for Traitor's Gate. As you travel outside London with your guide, step into the world of Henry VIII, Bloody Mary and Elizabeth I by exploring Hampton Court. Your guide is able to point out influences left by each of Henry's six wives.

  • Make your own way to the station to board a train to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city. While aboard the train enjoy the sights of picturesque northern England as you pass by fields, forests and villages. Upon arrival in Edinburgh, make your way to your centrally located hotel. In the afternoon, head to the outskirts of the city to tour His Majesty's yacht, The Royal Britannia. Explore this perfectly preserved grand yacht by yourself to see how the royals lived aboard during its service from 1954-1997.

  • This morning your guide picks you up at your hotel to take you on a walking of Edinburgh's Old and New towns. Explore Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Mile, the ancient marketplace Grassmarket, and walk up Arthur's Seat for views across the city. In the afternoon, your guide drops you off at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the home of Scottish royalty and the King's official residence when he's in Edinburgh. Here you can see the chambers of Mary, Queen of Scots

  • Leave the city today and embark on a day trip to nearby St. Andrews — where Prince William met Kate Middleton — and the historic Scone Palace.

  • This morning transfer to Edinburgh airport for your onward flight.
