Redoubt Bay Lodge

The US

Redoubt Bay Lodge, located on five acres at the entrance to Lake Clark Pass, is the only privately owned property in the region. This small rustic lodge lies on a small knoll overlooking Big River Lakes, a chain of lakes whose waters lead to the Big River and on to Cook Inlet. It is located 50 minutes southwest of Anchorage, and the float-plane flight offers spectacular views of the Cook Inlet and the western edge of the Kenai Peninsula.

Three small lakeside guest cabins and a cozy hand-hewn log, main lodge, make up the accommodation at this property. Meal time is an important element of your stay at Redoubt Bay Lodge, and during your stay you can expect some delicious home-cooked cuisine from one of the highly regarded chefs.

A resident bear population inhabits the Redoubt Bay Lodge area and guests have the opportunity to see the bears that come to the waters to fish for salmon. Guests can also enjoy fishing for salmon, kayaking around the lakes, hiking, and the natural beauty of the Redoubt Bay Critical Habitat area.
