Bear & Wildlife Viewing Flight Safari

Begin with a scenic one and a half hour small plane flight over active volcanoes and glaciers to the east coast of Katmai National Park (this tour does NOT go to Brooks Falls). After landing on the beach, you and your guide will spend approximately three hours walking along the beaches and meadows to view grizzly bears in their natural habitat.

From a safe distance, you may observe the bears fishing, digging for clams, grubbing for roots and grasses, socializing or raising their young. It is also possible to see foxes, bald eagles, and various sea life.

Departure time is between 7am and 9am, depending on the tides and weather. The total duration is six to eight hours.
