Although a little dated in their style of decor which features warm, dark woods, yellow walls and earthy tones alongside an eclectic mix of prints on the walls, the rooms here are spacious and comfortable. All rooms and suites have a private patio or balcony and free Wi-Fi as well as a coffee maker, safe, minibar and a complimentary daily newspaper. The suites offer additional space as well as bathrooms with sunken tubs.

Location

The hotel is located directly across from the white sands of West Beach and historic Steams Wharf. An easy walk or cycle will take you to State Street with its Spanish-influenced architecture and array of shops, restaurants and bars.

Food and drink

The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides in-room dining with omelets, pancakes, homemade muffins, fresh fruit and hot coffee available in the morning which are also available at State Street Coffee on State Street. Classics such as steaks and pasta dishes are available for in-room dining over lunch and dinner. Light meals and drinks are also served at the Pool Bar. Alternatively, there are many restaurants and diners just a short walk away in central Santa Barbara and along the waterfront. Hotel staff are happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.

Facilities and activities

The hotel has a heated outdoor pool with an ocean view, pool bar and Jacuzzi, as well as a small gym and spa with a dry sauna.

Wi-Fi is complimentary but there is a fee to park your car at the hotel of around $25.00 per day.
