Itinerary idea in detail

Private customized tour.

  • On arrival in Bozeman, pick up your rental car and make your way south toward the town of Pray, where your hotel is located. You will have the rest of the day at leisure around the lodge.

  • Take an excellent full day guided tour of northern Yellowstone. Here you'll get up-close and personal with the local wildlife like wolves, bison and elk. Your guide will also take you to the many hidden gems of the area to see iconic scenery you won't find on the maps.

  • Spend the day exploring the wonders of northern Yellowstone National Park on your own. The Hayden and Lamar Valleys are home to the majority of the park's wildlife and visitors. Here you can expect to see bison, elk, deer, bears and even wolves.

  • Departing south this afternoon, you'll wind your way through the heart of Yellowstone. You will have several opportunities to hike and take scenic drives around the area. We recommend stopping at Mammoth Hot Springs and Old Faithful.

  • Spend the day with your private guide exploring Yellowstone National Park and seeing the "Grand Canyon" of Yellowstone. You will get to explore some of the park's most spectacular attractions along with a variety of meadows, lakes and mud pots. Throughout the day, you will hike in a few different areas to see the Yellowstone River and local waterfalls.

  • Enjoy the day exploring the highlights of Yellowstone National Park. The southern section is best for seeing the park's geothermal highlights, including the Old Faithful geyser, which shoots out water every 90 minutes or so. There are also spectacular lakes and waterfalls, boiling mud and hot springs that glow yellow, orange, green and blue.

  • Today you will depart from Yellowstone National Park and head north to Big Sky, Montana. Here you will spend the next three nights at a local ranch, where you can explore the great outdoors on horse.

  • Today is at leisure to explore Big Sky and the local ranch and its amenities.

  • Today you will spend a second day exploring Big Sky and the local ranch and its amenities.

  • Depart from Big Sky and drive to Bozeman in time for your onward flight.
