I’ve recently spent a year in New Zealand, mainly in Queenstown, on a working holiday visa. This gave me the opportunity to explore the country and see what the North and South Islands have to offer. The reason I chose to spend a year in New Zealand was to see the other side of the world. It was during my time here that I confirmed my love for travel, and now I want everyone to experience this amazing country.
I found that the North Island has a rich history of Māori culture and that locals are looking after their wildlife, fauna, and flora. The South Island has stunning mountain scenery and great hikes; the views are breathtaking.
New Zealand is now considered a second home to me. I will always want to go back and explore the country.

What tips would you give for people who want to visit your specialty destination?
Dress like an onion. You might start the day with lots of layers on, but you'll take some off during the day.
Where would you love to travel next?
I would love to travel to the Bay of Islands to see the incredible beach views and to visit Waipoua Forest to see the largest Kauri tree in New Zealand.
What’s the best local dish you’ve tasted?
New Zealand is known to have incredible pies, and that could be at Fairlie Bakehouse or Fergbaker in Queenstown.
