The Movenpick El Quseir is a relaxing resort hotel, situated in a beautiful crescent-shaped bay a short distance outside of El Quseir. Whilst the 250 guest rooms and central hotel area are built in traditional Nubian style, a European feel predominates throughout much of the resort, reflecting Movenpick's Swiss sensibilities. Diving from the hotel is superb, with an excellent house reef to explore along with more far-flung spots to sample further out in the Red Sea. This, in addition to the best sandy beach in the area, is the main attraction of the hotel.
As you would expect from a Movenpick hotel, the facilities are excellent, with two large swimming pools boasting swim-in bars, a range of inside and al fresco dining options, tennis courts, and a relatively simple spa and leisure centre. The space and layout of the resort is such that even when at full capacity, it doesn't feel crowded or busy.
The 250 guest rooms and central hotel area are built in traditional Nubian style, with dark wooden furniture and splashes of teal in the soft furnishings. All rooms have either their own balcony or terrace area with sun loungers. Junior suites all over views overlooking the sea front.
Located just over a three hour drive from Luxor and less than two hours from Hurghada airport which offers flights to Cairo and direct flights back to the UK.
The resort itself is located about a ten minute drive north of the Old Port in El Quseir.
