Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis hotel is an excellent property located just ten minutes from Cairo International Airport, making it an ideal choice for those spending one night in Cairo before continuing their trip or returning home. It’s also just a 30-minute drive from downtown, so a great place to base yourself outside the hecticness of main Cairo.

Its lobby, bars and restaurants are contained within a huge, stunning atrium complete with palm trees and a clock fountain, allowing plenty of natural light into the area and into many of the rooms. Spacious and bright rooms either overlook the expansive lobby or city and pool area behind.

There’s also a swimming pool with a poolside bar, a fitness center, and a well-equipped spa if you have time to relax before your onward arrangements. There are several dining options including Brasserie Ayda, a Mediterranean restaurant, as well as Bar Raa, a 1920s, jazz themed bar where you can enjoy a cocktail and live music in the evenings.

The 252 rooms are spacious, bright, and modern with either one king-size or two queen-size beds, and bathrooms which have separate showers and bathtubs. Half of the rooms overlook the stunning lobby area and have views to Cairo beyond through the vast floor to ceiling glass which surrounds the hotel. The other rooms overlook the pool area and city behind. Rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel, including an espresso machine, smart TV, minibar, and rain shower.
