Anthony's Key Resort, Bay Islands, Honduras

Our rating: Medium

Anthony's Key is located in Sandy Bay - a peaceful and quiet area of Roatán and a superb base for dive enthusiasts.

It has been a dive resort for over 30 years and has the PADI Gold Palm 5-star Instructor Development Centre award. They offer superb 7 night dive packages and there are 56 comfortable but rustic wooden bungalows, however it still manages to retain its serene atmosphere.

The cabins are either situated on the Key or up on the hillside. They do offer alternative activities to diving as well such as horse riding, kayaking, snorkeling with dolphins and island fiesta nights with live music and dancing.

The cabins overlooking the bay have beautiful views and the relaxed feel definitely puts you in the Caribbean mood! The superior cabins are worth the upgrade in our opinion.
