This boutique property offers accommodation in six treehouses and six cottages, the former of which sit charmingly among the Mahua trees. Located 5.5 m (18 ft) above the ground and with large French windows, these treehouses ensure uninterrupted views of the surrounding forest and grassland.
Each room balances modern comforts with plenty of character, featuring a four-poster bed, en suite bathroom, air conditioning, as well as heating for those cooler months. To keep active, game drives, cycling, nature walks and village visits are all possible from the hotel, while for those more inclined to relax, the swimming pool and organic gardens offer tranquil relief.
OUR OPINION:
We think that this rustic, romantic spot provides a charming base to explore the nearby national park. Please do note that due to their lofty vantage point, the treehouses at this property may not be ideal for less-adventurous guests as there are flights of stairs to climb and insects and rodents can find their way into your room through cracks. Having said that, this is a unique hotel that ranks among the very best in Pench.

The six Sal wood treehouses dotted around the lodge's private forest provide a unique stay among the clutches of the Mahua trees. Boasting superb views of the surrounding forest and grassland, the rooms are also kitted with en suite bathrooms, large four-poster beds, French windows that open out onto private decks, as well as air conditioning and heating to cater for the cooler months. Both the treehouses and the cottages provide peace, privacy and style, with the décor featuring vintage and natural esthetics, including a variety of curated wildlife art.

Located within close proximity to the Karmajihiri gate of the national park, as well as the picturesque village of Sarahiri, Pench Tree Lodge offers its guests an excellently located base from which to explore the local area.
