The location is ideal for exploring the city or strolling along the Lungomare in search of one its notable pizzerias or seafood restaurants.
Rooms and suites are classic in style, furnished with antiques and artwork, while still managing to feel light and airy. The Caruso roof garden restaurant is an oasis of calm above the crowds; great for an evening drink or meal against the dramatic backdrop of the bay and Mount Vesuvius.

Rooms are bright and airy, with views of either the Bay of Naples and Castle dell’Ovo, or of the bustling Neapolitan streets below. Tall windows or balconies give height to the rooms, while filling them with natural light. This complements the antique furniture and paintings, lending a refreshing air to the space. Standing on the lively waterfront, the Grand Hotel Vesuvio is steps away from Naples’ bars and restaurants and under 20 minutes’ walk from the central Cappella Sansevero or Piazza Plebiscito. Being right on the seafront, you're well placed to explore the bay; take a boat to Capri Island or down to the Amalfi Coast.
Food and drink
The Caruso roof garden restaurant was named after Italian opera singer, Enrico Caruso — a frequent guest at the hotel. It has indoor and outdoor seating on the leafy terrace, and serves first-rate Neapolitan and Mediterranean cuisine in a modern setting. On the ground floor is a lobby bar, which is open every evening for cocktails and traditional pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres.
