An outstanding coastal property in the heart of Sorrento, this historic hotel, built in 1820, is subtly elegant, classically Italian and small enough to feel like a welcoming noble home.
Hotel Plaza Sorrento
The Plaza Sorrento is a lively modern hotel with a bright but minimalist design. Each of the five floors are uniquely styled with fresh, clean lines. On the rooftop, there is a small, infinity pool surrounded by sun loungers and offering fantastic views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples beyond. The modern rooms are all of a good size. All feature simple decor, crisp white linens, parquet floors and wooden furniture.
The location of the hotel is ideal and guests can easily explore the many boutiques, bars and restaurants that line the piazzas and cobbled streets nearby.
There is an elevator that takes you down to the sea should you wish to lounge on one of the jetties or take a swim. Next door to the hotel is the beautiful Valley of the Mills, a wonderful ancient ruin, now completely overgrown with trees and moss.
