MV Ushuaia
Built in the USA for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the MV Ushuaia is perfectly suited to polar exploration. On board you will find everything that you need from a library and observation lounge to a full complement of expert expedition leaders and lecturers. The cabins are comfortable but not luxurious, and range from good value cabins with no window, to large suites with outside views. This is one of the more simple boats to visit Antarctica but it makes up for its lack of creature comforts with heaps of character and by being smaller than most other options.
