The Victoria group have now bought several carriages from the state owned railway and converted them to a level of comfort expected by Western travelers.
Each compartment is wood paneled with air-conditioning and there is a restaurant carriage with a well stocked bar and a small menu serving Vietnamese and international dishes. Compartments are either two or four berth and easily convert to comfortable beds for overnight journeys. Toilet facilities are shared.
