Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island

Deep South

Good for both families and couples, Sonesta combines comfort with a convenient location just steps away from the sandy beaches on Bass Head. Each of the hotel’s 340 rooms boasts a private balcony that overlooks either the Shipyard Plantation grounds, the Atlantic Ocean or the hotel’s own manicured tropical gardens.

While you’re here, you can take advantage of tennis courts, golf courses, swimming pools and a supervised kids’ club. Guests can also rent kayaks, paddleboards, bicycles or powerboats, to explore the island. Hilton Head Island is home to more than 80 km (50 miles) of paths. Nearby, you’ll find a host of boutiques, cafes, restaurants and shops at Coligny Plaza.

In addition to all the activities on offer at Sonesta Resort, guests can also use the facilities at the Shipyard Plantation. You’ll find tennis courts, golf courses, and hiking and cycling trails as well as water-sports on the beach. The hotel’s Arum Spa also offers a varied menu of treatments.
