What’s the best local dish you’ve tasted?
After landing in Rome, my first meal was at Trattoria Cadorna — and it was unforgettable. I ordered Prosciutto e Mozzarella di Bufala, and every bite was a dream. The prosciutto was incredibly fresh, tender, and packed with rich, savoury flavour. The mozzarella, made from buffalo milk rather than cow’s milk, was extra creamy with a delicate tang that balanced the salty meat beautifully. Sitting at a cozy table just steps from the heart of the city, jet-lagged but content, I felt like I had arrived. It was the perfect introduction to Italy — and a meal I’ll always remember.
Where would you love to travel next?
The Galápagos Islands are a dream destination — wild, remote, and full of wonder. From giant tortoises and playful sea lions to blue-footed boobies, the wildlife is unlike anywhere else. Exploring volcanic landscapes and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters would be an unforgettable adventure in one of the world’s most unique ecosystems.
Your best piece of travel advice?
The best travel advice I ever received was to slow down and truly savour each moment. Rather than rushing from one landmark to the next, I learned to pause and breathe in the local air — the scent of fresh bread, blooming flowers, or salty sea breeze. I watched locals go about their day, noticed the rhythm of their lives, and listened to the sounds of the streets or wildlife nearby. It’s in these quiet, mindful moments that a place reveals its true beauty. Travelling this way turned every destination into a richer, more meaningful experience I’ll never forget.
