Located adjacent to Kinnekswiss Park, Le Royal Hotel offers a full range of amenities in a convenient location, just a short walk from the heart of Luxembourg City. The stately building opens into a lobby with a warm glow from the gold leaf surrounding the light fixtures, a wooden reception desk and comfortable seating areas.

While within walking distance of many restaurants, the hotel does boast two of its own — the upscale La Pomme Cannelle with its French-focused fare, and Restaurant Amélys, which features a restaurant terrace overlooking Kinnekswiss Park.

The 210 rooms and suites have a contemporary design with simple furnishings, comfortable bedding and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the rooms with natural light.

The hotel also features many amenities, such as a large indoor pool, a fully equipped gym and a spa with a full wellness menu.

Rooms

There are 210 rooms and suites, divided among a handful of categories and sections. The Club Wing, accessed by its own private elevator, has Traditional rooms, Traditional suites and the Suite Royal, which comes fully equipped with a kitchenette and Jacuzzi. Outside of the private wing you’ll also find Traditional rooms and Traditional suites. The Privilege floor is on the top floor of the hotel with views overlooking the park — the Privilege rooms are similar to a junior suite with a large sitting area and an outdoor terrace.

Each room comes with modern comforts like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, en suite bathrooms and satellite TV.

Location

Le Royal Hotel is located in the Ville Haute district of Luxembourg City, less than a five-minute walk from the Place d’Armes, and close to many shops and restaurants. The back of the hotel overlooks the sprawling Kinnekswiss Park.

Food and drink

  • A buffet breakfast is served daily in Restaurant Amélys.
  • La Pomme Cannelle restaurant is open weekdays from 12–2pm and 7–10pm for lunch and dinner. Its menu focuses on traditional French cuisine.
  • Restaurant Amélys is open from noon–10pm for lunch and dinner and offers a prix fixe menu of French cuisine.
  • The Piano Bar serves drinks from 10:30am–1am, and is known for its extensive whisky and cigar menu.
