My passion for travel started with a nine-month round-the-world trip straight after university. It was such an amazing experience that it led me to pursue a career in travel, which now spans more than 20 years, including ten years spent creating tailor-made cruise itineraries. I’ve been fortunate to visit all seven continents and make incredible memories along the way. I never get tired of discovering new places, trying local food, and learning from the people I meet.
The Caribbean has always been one of my preferred destinations. I have always been in awe of the unique beauty and diversity of each island. From white-sand beaches and vibrant coral reefs to lush rainforests, wildlife, waterfalls, and, of course, sampling the abundance of delicious local food and locally made rum. There truly is something for everyone.

What's your most vivid travel moment?
Waking up on the Antarctic Peninsula after two days sailing over the Drake Passage is something I’ll never forget. It was one of the most breathtaking places I’ve visited, with snowy mountains, crystal-clear water, and untouched landscapes. The incredible wildlife, whales, seals, penguins, and beautiful birds, all unfazed by our presence, made it truly unique. It really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Your best piece of travel advice?
Try to book as many local tours and experiences as possible to really learn about the place you are visiting. Having a local tour guide’s knowledge and expertise is invaluable. They’re on hand to guide you through local customs, history and answer any questions you may have. It’s the greatest way to learn about a place from the people who know it best.
Where would you love to travel next?
Japan is very much on the bucket list. I don’t know a single person who has been who hasn’t loved it. I think it has so much to offer in terms of culture, history, scenery and food. I’ve also always wanted to ride the bullet train.
