Location
Kandima Maldives is in one of the remotest atolls in the Maldives, Dhaalu. There are over 57 islands within the atoll, but only seven of them are inhabited, making it one of the most pristine regions in the country. The island is reached by a 30-minute flight from Malé, followed by a 20-minute boat ride to the island, with the option of a direct 40-minute seaplane flight if preferred.
Food and drink
You have ten restaurants and bars to try out during your stay. Start the day at Aroma with coffee, fresh juices and baked goods. A laid-back lunch can be had at the Beach Club or Azure beachside restaurant. Then, in the evening, Sea Dragon serves authentic Chinese cuisine, while the Forbidden Bar plays live music into the night.
Families
Families are welcome at Kandima, which has a children's club (Kandiland) free of charge for ages 4-12, and a babysitting service available for younger guests. The club is run by a multilingual team and contains a splash playground, trampoline, pirate ship, climbing wall, table tennis and indoor play areas.

The facilities and activities at Kandima are extensive. For fitness lovers, there's a gym with personal trainers and classes such as anti-gravity yoga and aqua-bike classes. You can also make use of the multiple sports courts available, and you can hire a bike to explore the island.

The island’s diving and water sports facility offers a variety of water sports. From kayaking and surfing to jet- and waterskiing, along with diving courses, lessons and excursions for all skill levels. You’ll also find a marine biology facility where you can attend presentations on the local marine wildlife.
