Custom built for Antarctic cruises, Magellan Explorer was developed from the ground up by international polar expedition experts and is named after the famed explorer Ferdinand Magellan.

For air-cruise expeditions, the vessel has a capacity for 76 guests, lodging in seven accommodation categories. All accommodation features a wardrobe, individually controlled heating system, a sitting area, and a private bathroom with a shower and heated floors. You might enjoy the forward-facing observation lounge and bar, where your expert polar guides deliver educational programs and information. The outdoor observation deck offers expansive views and close contact with the natural environments you sail through. The dining room offers ample space with large windows for sightseeing. There ship features a library filled with Antarctic-themed books, a gym, sauna and a protected outdoor barbecue area.

Cabins

All cabins are individually designed and spacious with air-conditioning, private bathroom and TV. Amenities may vary slightly dependent on where your cabin is located. For example, only some have balconies. You can choose a cabin on the lower deck, main deck, or upper deck.

Dining
