Cruceros Australis Cruise
The Ventus Australis and her sister ship Stella Australis were built specifically for cruising the waters at the very tip of the South American continent.
Change location
Slightly larger than its sister ships the Via Australis, the Stella Australis, new to 2010, has 100 cabins and a capacity for 210 guests. All the vessels have been built specifically for cruising the waters at the very bottom of the South American continent.
Guests are joined by expert local guides on board who lead excursions to the shore. These excursions will involve visiting virtually untouched areas of Tierra del Fuego, including glaciers and animal colonies. Your excursions see you disembark the boat onto small Zodiacs. In the evenings there are entertainments and lectures on the flora and fauna of the area.
The following activities are designed to give you the most authentic experiences of the area where you’re staying. We work with local guides, who use their knowledge and often a resident’s eye to show you the main sights and more out-of-the-way attractions. Our specialists can also suggest outdoor pursuits and activities, such as cooking classes, that will introduce you to the traditions of the area’s inhabitants.
