La Selva Biological Station, Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, Costa Rica
Accommodation at the La Selva Biological Research Station comprises eight simple cabins with twin beds, private bathroom with hot water, fan and balcony.
Rooms are set away from the main facilities building and are wonderfully peaceful but very basic — there is no air-conditioning. Staying at the lodge gives you first hand access to the 61 km of trails around the Biological Station.
Please note that in the evenings you will have to walk by torch light between your room and the central facilities.
